Yes?ter?day, it was announced that those who pur?chase a ?day one? copy of Assassin?s Creed Rev?e?la?tions?would get an addi?tional sur?prise: a free copy of the first Assassin?s Creed.

Remem?ber that game? You know, with Altair and the repet?i?tive assas?si?na?tion tech?niques? Well, those who never bought the game when it first came out or after its price drop, will receive a brand-new ver?sion of the game on launch day and will be able to play it at no addi?tional charge. While most add-ons for games require codes to unlock the fea?ture, Ubisoft has said that Assassin?s Creed will be on the same disc as Rev?e?la?tions, so the need for the code is out. The fact that the game will be on the same disc as Rev?e?la?tions?means that the deal is only for the PS3 ver?sions of the?game.
